Hi I was the lady who was attacked and can say that the person who attacked me is in custody. I would ask people not to speculate if possible as I have been advised by the police that it?s in judicial proceedings which I don?t want to jeopardise. Many thanks
MrsBoris - I hope you and your family are well and so sorry to hear about the ordeal you went through. I am very glad that the person is now in custody and I hope that you can take some small comfort from that. Thank you so much for you and your friend for alerting people to what happened - it's what forums like this are for and I am sure people were more vigilant as a result.

Thank you for posting. I am so sorry you had to go through this awful ordeal.

I hope your son is ok?

Also many thanks for your friend for making other women aware of what happened whilst the perpetrator was still at large.

I will not comment further on this case but to answer Duncan?s question, and respond to snowy?s claim against FPFW - FPFW gathered their data using FOIs from prisons, after they had no luck in simply asking the Ministry of Justice for the information. About a week after they published their findings, the MoJ released the official data which showed that FPFW had actually slightly underestimated the case. Prisoner governors have also raised concerns about this.

That?s all I?m going to say, but I wasn?t going to allow yet another casual accusation of transphobia go unaddressed.

That's good to hear, and I really hope you and your son will be OK and get the right support.

Like others said thanks also to you and your friend for sharing on this forum, I'm sure it wasn't easy - I live on Wood Vale and am grateful to have known about this.

Why has my post been deleted? It wasn't about the case at hand, and was simply stating the background behind the stats cited by another poster earlier in the thread. If my post is to be deleted then please delete the (baseless) accusation of transphobia thrown out by *snowy*.

This is not a discussion about transphobia but you're welcome to start a discussion about it in the Lounge section.

Admin - perhaps now lock this thread? - an individual has been arrested and I would imagine we now move into a sub judice period. This would avoid any unintentional postings which might jeopardise things. Once there is a trial and verdict a new thread, if necessary, could be started.

    • So glad you found this poor little thing....  I heard that so many people tried to catch it as it was running in the road.  Well done!
    • As a one off thing, I'd 100% recommend going to Alexander Does Supper, if you like food! It's up at Dulwich Art School, and you do some life drawing, have an amazing three course meal, and then watch some burlesque! I met some great people from the local area, and it was something different that I would never have done otherwise. https://www.instagram.com/alexanderdoessupper https://www.alexanderdoessupper.com
    • No, signs of sense and scrutiny of "leaders" not knowing the impact of what they have done, so much so that every citizen in the UK will suffer financially as a result of an incompetent, incoherent, unhinged Govt that's impact is effecting every citizen in the UK. Where things were being turned around by the last lot, this lot has already compromised all that work in its first 120 days in power. You may not like it but that's the truth.  We are never going to agree and actually Reeves, Rayner and Starmer need to go, like yesterday.
