Hello.

Did anyone in Barry road have someone claiming g to be from battersea dogs home knocking on their door yesterday evening.. I had a guy knock on door around 6.30 but couldnt understand what he was saying as didnt speak very good English..

It's likely to be legit - Battersea Dogs Home do door-to-door fundraising, you can see it on their website and download a list of areas they're visiting (also lists the agency they use):

They're listed as being in SE22 from 7th - 13th June. If he is who he claims to be, he should have ID from both the agency and from BDH. There's a number on the website you can call to check as well.

We had a dog from them many years ago. That said, I never sign up for anything on the door, I wish charities wouldn't do it.
