shaunag Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 My sister is flying over on her own with 3 kids and all the associated baggage, and wants to hire a car. She would prefer not to have to schlep out to some remote car park with all of them in tow with the bags (Im not even sure she could), so wanted to check if anyone has any experience of a car rental company she could use that would make the process a bit more bearable (i.e. is there a company that will meet you in arrivals with the car parked in ST parking for instance?)! Audrey Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 I can't recommend a company but your sister should know that the car rental co is very unlikely to fit the baby/child seats for insurance reasons (or so I've been told the 4 times I've hired a car since needing such kit). The problem for us is that we don't have a car in London so haven't a clue how to fit the damnable things.... can put a little pressure on relations right at the beginning of the holiday, but thats a whole other issue.... Its something worth thinking about depending on the ages of the little ones with your sister being on her own.If anyone has experience to the contrary would love to hear!
