bettyorange
I'm 40 this year and my clubbing days seem like the distant past, but i do feel like a good dance.I once heard a rumour that there was a good club night for old giffers round here somewhere, does anyone know about it?Was it called horse or something like that?Cheers. Regular events are held in Penge on a Monday evening, Bromley Civic Center on a Tuesday, Bromley in he United Services club on a Wednesday. If you check this site it gives a complete weekly listing. http://www.londonsalsascene.co.uk/html/weeklies.html Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28560-i-feel-like-dancing/#findComment-612289 Share on other sites
Twirly
If you fancy trying partner dancing, Ceroc is a good way in: http://www.ceroclondon.com/ there are classes all over London. I tend to go to Greenwich, Clapham or Pimlico. Jive Party hold monthly events at the Rivoli: http://www.jiveparty.com/ I've never been, though I keep meaning to. There are loads of other dances, West Coast Swing, tango (http://www.tangosouthlondon.co.uk/ is at the Constitutional Club in ED, so very handy - another one I go to sometimes), etc. Just google and you'll find something that suits you.If you fancy trying a smorgasbord of dance styles and raising some money for a good cause (anti-trafficking) you could try this: http://movingthrutransitions.com/#/one-billion-rising/4571160756 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28560-i-feel-like-dancing/#findComment-612419 Share on other sites

diamondjive
There are drop in jive classes at the Prince Regent, Herne Hill on a Monday night from 8pm. Friendly lot and no need to book a set of classes in advance, you can always drop in when you feel like it. At only a fiver a class it is a bargain. Same lot run a club night on the second Friday of each month at the Railway Tavern, Tulse Hill. The fun pub near the railway station in Tulse Hill. Night is free and starts at 8pm. Next club night is on the 8th of March. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28560-i-feel-like-dancing/#findComment-617518 Share on other sites
