Flat or room needed urgently for clean professional

hello, I'm a professional classical musician (flutist) and I'm in need of a room as soon as this Thursday 27/5. looking for a practice friendly flat (for (acoustic!) flute practice). I'm very friendly , clean, tidy. I'm also coeliac so I keep everything separate in the kitchen if I'm sharing a flat, and hope that the flatmate would be understanding and mindful of this. I am open to short term, or long term for the right fit, but need something very quickly (next week!) through to early July at the minimum. apart from the flute practice, I tend to be very quiet otherwise. i'm happy to answer any other questions you may have! I'm available to come by asap to check it out too. many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!

  Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.

  Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
