I've heard the Herne Tavern is being taken over. Is this true and if so does anyone know when?

Yes, its true. Not sure on the date but they were initially negotiating with the group behind the Bishop and the Actress. From what I understand, they want the money to open additional Beggin' Bowls-- the group behind the Herne and the Palmerston also own Beggin' Bowl on Bellenden Road.
