Layla's Mum
I would have thought this question has been asked so many times but I can't find the answer on the EDF search engine. Please could someone recommend a nanny agency in the SE23 area? I know it can be better to do it yourself on the forum and other places but I am struggling with finding the time to put into that. So if anyone has had a good experience of a nanny agency in SE23, please please let me know. Many thanks. Claire29
Hi I used Tinies, which is an agency based in Bromley, but they cover South East London (I'm based in Sidcup now which is where I've got my nanny for) The reason I used the agency was because we were moving to an area where I didn't know anyone so couldn't rely on recommendation, plus we were leaving a really good nanny behind in dulwich so I wanted someone good. The first nanny they sent to me to interview was perfect, we just clicked, and we are happy with her 5 months on. It is an expensive option (4 weeks nanny pay)was the fee we had to pay, but after having a couple of bad nannies, before our good one in dulwich, I wanted to find someone I could trust. Adam
We use Abbeville, for the same reasons as Claire29. Expensive (especially if you change your kind about nanny - I understand it is quite difficult getting the upfront fee back) but we are very happy with the nanny they found for us, on very short notice Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28446-nanny-agency-recommendation-please/#findComment-611393 Share on other sites
alieh
We have now hired two nannies (our first moved abroad) through SimplyChildcare and thought there were outstanding candidates both times. We have felt very lucky with both of our nannies, who are very experienced and amazing with the children. Each time we chose to interview about 4-5 people. You can view people's profiles for free on the site and then have to pay about ?30 (for the year I think) if you want to actually contact any of them. snowboarder
Ditto Claire above in terms of reasons - we used Nanny Link. The main thing I liked is that they only put forward nannies within our budget, and they had actually met them first. EDNA
We would be happy to help and we have a half price offer at present - plus we only charge a fixed fee as opposed to a percentage of the nanny's salary, which makes it an affordable service for families :)East Dulwich Nanny Agency (EDNA)www.eastdulwichnannyagency.comTel. 07453 890 109office@ednannyagency.co.uk Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28446-nanny-agency-recommendation-please/#findComment-622292 Share on other sites
