Our cat is still missing - possible sightings on Piermont Green, St Aidens Road and Marmora Rd area - please keep an eye out if you live in these areas - he is likely to be very timid and scared - any possible sightings please call 07970 986773/07801 027135

Have you tried the tips from Cats Protection on attracting him home?

I know some have had luck with things like putting litter trays outside (if he used one), so the smell brings him home

Well, that was unexpected. Marvin was found in Lewisham after apparently hitching a ride under a neighbours car on Tuesday morning.


He?s home now, hungry but happy. Thanks to everyone who got in touch.

We?re very relieved/delighted to see the little fella!

Sorry to hear about your cat tamsie&greg.


In no particular order;


Posters and flyers with photo

Use street WhatsApp groups including surrounding roads

Look close to home as well as further away/ask all immediate neighbours

Check nearby parkland/undergrowth

We took wet and dry food with us when looking. Rattling the dry food.

Take any toys that make a noise. We had a plastic ball with a bell which our cat likes.

We saw other cats more often either early or late

Could it have got into a vehicle that day?

We knocked on some doors, almost everyone was very nice and said they?d keep an eye open

Keep bumping your Forum post

Looking at your post, can you be more specific on location?


Fingers crossed for you, there are many stories of cats being found after a long time so stay positive.

      All the parents looking after their kids instead of skiving from their meaningless desk jobs might mean it's quieter on here. Still, at least it gives free rein to the bad-tempered, long-winded pensioners that begin their posts "having resided in Dulwich for a not inconsiderable number of decades, may I be so bold as to suggest..." 😉

      We have been patients at Sternhall Lane for years. Our experience has generally been incredibly positive with speedy responses and very helpful staff. We are generally fortunate to get a same day appointment should we really need one either at Sternhall Lane or at Tessa Jowell and any necessary referalls have been swift.

      @Alice if left might have been stolen/taken by someone (peed on by a dog or fox), also there are some little things attached of - I assume - sentimental value. I hope the owner can claim them. Will leave a note indeed with info how to retrieve them, though not with a private phone number in a public space 😅 Maybe a friend of a friend will come across this post on EDF.  @embob97 They do have a ring, sorry.
