spacecrafter
Hello, if your intending to use a camping stove in your house you will have to get hold of a small electric one. Never ever use a camping gas stove in your house or an enclosed area! The fumes it will release are highly dangerous and in a small space could cause you to fall unconscious even kill you if your exposed to it for long enough!http://www.deseretnews.com/article/482384/CAMP-STOVE-GAS-KILLS-3-US-AIRMEN.html?pg=all Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28429-camping-stove-during-house-renovations/#findComment-610853 Share on other sites
KidKruger
I use a 2x burner camping stove when I renovate my kitchens, as long as you're letting the air exchange in a room you're fine Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28429-camping-stove-during-house-renovations/#findComment-610862 Share on other sites

jimmyraj
I used one of these when we had a new kitchen put in. That plus an old fridge in the lounge and washing in the bathroom sink, we sorted it all...http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9099562.htm Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28429-camping-stove-during-house-renovations/#findComment-611400 Share on other sites
Pickle
When we had our kitchen renovated we used a two ring electric hob (I put an ad in the wanted section on the forum) and a microwave. They did the trick for the 6 weeks or so we were without a kitchen. civilservant
We had the fridge and the washing machine in the sitting room and washed up in the bath for 4 months - that was grim! The cooking was done in a microwave or on an induction hob that sat on top of the washing machine as I didn't want to risk a naked flame or a hot electric element in our very tight living space. You can pay quite a bit for one but we went for this cheap-ish hob http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004BM749S/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1/278-4129225-4678057?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_r=0VY4SNZQJ6CTBWCRV6VA&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=103612307&pf_rd_i=B001TIPRN2 after reading the on-line reviews and were quite pleased with it Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28429-camping-stove-during-house-renovations/#findComment-611428 Share on other sites
