TopTree
Just walked past the usual tall big issue seller outside the Co-op; talking to two friends: Drinking from a dark blue can of tennent?s. Hope all those who buy from him or give him cash; will be there for him when he gets liver disease. Well done to you all. maxxi
I trust you told him that stuff would rot his guts and gave him a four pack of micro-brewery lager and some low-sodium crisps?ETA; Or nachos and a dip would be nice too. StraferJack
It's always instructive when one reads a post like this, to cast an eye over the posting history of the OPWhat a friend of humanity TT is. Loz
I saw a guy asking for money once near Vauxhall station. My immediate thought was that he'd probably spend any money I gave him on alcohol. My second thought was that I would probably spend it on alcohol anyway.I gave the money to him. I figured he needed a beer more than I did. malumbu
Is this SE23.com? Their local Big Issue seller is one of only about three topics of conversation on that site.So years ago I am cycling across the wonderfully smooth surfact at the front of Westminster Catherdral and I clock the winos sitting on the bench. Sad people I think. Then crash I fall off due to the slippiness of marble tiles. And they came to my rescue. Different view then.
