bettyorange
Has anyone had experience of kids going swimming recently? All the family slots seem to be booked and i'm wondering whether its worth it as it's all lane swimming so no chance of 12 year old fun!Can never get through to the lido, think its the same scenario.Anyone know the score on bigger boys going swimming in post pandemic times? TreacleRabbit
I contacted Everyone Active to ask for more family slots (to take kids swimming at the weekend). They just said they can?t fit everyone in, and suggested other areas instead!I wonder if they make less money during Family slots - but they can?t go at all during all the school hours. TreacleRabbit
There is only 1 hour non-Lane swimming on Sundays. If there are others who don?t feel that is enough, you can contact Everyone Active here and let them know;https://www.everyoneactive.com/enquiries/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/283553-booking-swimming-slots-for-kids/#findComment-1509071 Share on other sites
bonaome
Betty orange - They can use the public swimming sessions too. These are not lane swimming sessions and probably better for bigger kids than the family session which tend to be toddlers, babies and younger kids. There?s also Camberwell, Peckham Pulse and The Castle Centre at the Elephant they could use and which might have public sessions at different times. The easiest way to check and book is via the everyone active app. Finally there?s also Forest Hill. All of them easy to get to on buses from lordship lane.
