Builder Recommendation - Vata Construction

Recommended Posts

I am currently having renovation works done on a Victorian Mid-Terrace and hired Hekuran of Vata Construction for the job and would like to recommend his firm who have undertaken/are in the process of undertaking the following works:

- Partition wall extensions

- Stair removal/replacement

- Chimney breast removal

- Laying of wooden flooring (engineered and parquet)

- Kitchen installation

- Painting & Decorating

- Wooden panelling

- Joinery (alcove + under stair cupboards, built in wardrobes, shelving)

- Replacement of gas pipes/radiators

Though the job is underway, I am writing this recommendation as I am very happy with:

- The initial quotation which was itemised

- The response time on queries and the amenability to take on additions to the job as well as advise on how to improve our plans within budget

- The quality of the work so far looks excellent

- His team are all very friendly, helpful and most importantly - good workers. The job was a last minute job with plenty of changes and Hekuran has (through working overtime) managed to keep us on track for the completion date.

Hekuran is very good at communicating and keeping us abreast on the progress of the job as well as very good at coming up with solutions to any issues he has encountered during the build.

I will provide an update once the job is completed but so far, wouldn't hesitate to recommend his firm. He can be contacted on:

I am happy to provide further information by PM if required.

Too soon to think this is happening in Labour.  I posted elsewhere a review of the last government's manifesto by a political analyst.  Sobering how much they hadn't achieved. As with all manifestos. That working class hero turned bad Livingstone campaigned on slashing bus fares from the universe pound, at the time And reintroducing conductors. Neither happened, following a reality check.  Instead by accident or design he revolutionised public transport with the Oyster card. Lest we forget.

Their phrasing, ‘to no one' and ‘no free man' gave these provisions a universal quality that is still applicable today in a way that many of the clauses relating specifically to feudal custom are not
