Goodrich School-Nursery Admissions

There have been some changes recently in how nursery children enter schools in Southwark and other Local Authorities across the country. Children enter the nursery from when they are three years old, but there is now only one point of entry :September (there is NO January intake anymore).

Therefore, if your child is going to be three years old before August 31st 2013 you need to apply for your nursery place now.

Places are offered on a part time basis either AM 8.50-11.50 or PM 12.40-3.40

Applications need to be made directly to the school and places at Goodrich are filling up fast. You can call into the school office, phone 02086931050, fax 02082992775,or email [email protected]

  • 2 weeks later...

Just giving this a little bump up as I was speaking to my child's teacher yesterday and understand there are still places available for September.

Both of my older children went to the school nursery (now in reception and year 1), it is absolutely lovely and a great introduction to primary school.

    • look online - you can get a garage to attend the test drive with you - so you can get some support once you get that far.  I can't comment on reputable dealerships - I would probably not buy from the same place that does the test drive with you though
    • Hey everyone, I’m currently on the hunt for a second-hand car and thought I’d reach out to the forum for some advice. I’m particularly looking for a U-LEZ compliant automatic hatchback, so if anyone is selling or knows of a good deal, I’d love to hear about it! Also, if you have any general tips on buying a second-hand car — things to watch out for, red flags, or recommendations on trustworthy dealerships — I’m all ears! Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!
    • I had the covid vaccination at TJ a couple of weeks ago or so and checking the card they gave me it says Spikevax which is Moderna.  Edit: just seen you had your jab in the pharmacy whereas I had mine in the first floor premises arranged by ECPS. I have heard/read that all vaccinations are Moderna this time round.
    • I've just checked on my NHS app, it shows that I've had the vaccine but doesn't record which it was. But then, it didn't last autumn and I was then given the record of what I'd had. Presumably this is a cost saving measure. I never get details of what flu vaccine I get or who made it.
