Recommendation wanted: Gardener/landscape gardener for front and back garden in ED

We had both front and back gardens completely overhauled by Alek Nikolic. With both we had them completely removed and started from scratch. He was great at listening to what we wanted and coming up with ideas, and we have been thrilled with the end results. He's a very hard worker and a nice guy to have around.

A few of my friends have since used him too and also been really pleased.

Alek is local to East Dulwich, and can be contacted on 07702 029 397. Happy to let you see our gardens as an example of his work.

We recently used The Garden Club - http://www.gardenclublondon.co.uk/ - for a complete 'garden transformation', and can thoroughly recommend them. Tony Woods is a true plant expert and came up with lots of ideas around the things we'd suggested. He then bought the plants at very reasonable prices for us because he knows which nurseries to use. The number is 020 3544 7443.

The Garden Club contracted out the hard landscaping, which was a key element of our new garden, to Outside Edge (Clinton Wootten - 07887 847770). Again, Clint is a real find.

Do get in touch if you'd like more detailed info.

Good luck!

    • I remember halfpennies. Farthings had gone by my time. 2/6 (half a crown) that looked very similar to 2s.
    • Looks like moths have been at it!
    • "They sold everyone, directly or indirectly, on the notion that Covid, the energy crisis and the war in Ukraine had nothing to do with the sorry state of the UK and that it was 14 years of Tory rule and Truss' nightmare budget that was the source of all the country's woes. " This simply isn't true. Global issues all play their own parts (as they do with other countries) but the UK govt had  been especially abject for years. Improvements could not be made with them in power. That's not to say everything is all roses when they go To claim parties shouldn't try and sell themselves in an election is absurd - but if labour did overpromise or dig into specifics (which they partly couldn't because they didn't have their hands on the books) then we live in a country where a population and media is happy to punch on them and relect the shabby last govt I mean if any argument I made was supported by some posters I would rethink it but thats just me
