Who's side is my fence??

I wondered which side of the back garden fencing is the responsibility of the owner on the odd numbers side of Turney Road SE21.

Really need to look at the deeds. But the support horizontal supports are usually on the responsible owners side.

usually in england it is the fence on the left when you look out from the house.

your deeds may or may not confirm this

There was nothing on our road about who owned the fence so we came to an arrangement based on historic works - so like typically said - as you face out to the garden we maintain the left hand side
