How would you like it if I came and had a crap in your front garden?

This was no accident either as I saw that you were trying to hide from view behind our hedge. When I banged on the window you still had time to stop your dog, or clear up afterwards, but no - you looked up at me and walked away.

You are pond life.

If I'd been vindictive, I'd have wrestled her to the ground and required her to consume said offending article. But I'm not vindictive so I wouldn't have.

Hanging's too good for people like her. 'ere, I had that James Nesbitt in the back of my cab last week.

Davidh, I was making a serious point in a lighthearted (and possibly ironic) way. I was making fun of the contrast between my wishy washy liberal persona and the more vengeful dark side that lies beneath - I am a Scorpio by the way!

In reality I am 100% behind the OP. People who allow their dogs to crap all over the place should be fined to the limit - they should also be required to meet people who have lost their sight in one or both of their eyes because of toxocariasis that they have caught from dog crap.

I don't mean to stoke any fires, but as a non pet owner I have an equal problem with cat owners who let their pets out all night to fight, hunt and poo in my garden while setting off my sensor light every 15 mins. Is this a more controversial issue to verbalise?

Disgusting behaviour and yes, cat poo is also a pain but these are the things we can see and recognise.

Fox poo/urine, rat poo/urine, mouse poo/urine, squirrels, birds, snails, slugs...all carry potentially harmful, even lethal pathogens, and as for the things you can catch off other humans who touch stuff that is all around having failed to wash their hands, after urination/pooing/sneezing/coughing......

I'm afraid my description of her wouldn't be very good - old ugly woman with a jack Russell, is about as good as I can do.

I would've gone after her, but I was up stairs and by the time I got down, put my shoes on and gone outside, she probably would've been miles away. Very annoying. Anyway, I believe in karma, and I'm sure she'll get hers.

The thing about cats is that you can't really control them, they do what they want, which is part of the attraction right? But dogs you can definitely control when and where they poo. If they do poo somewhere they shouldn't, clear it up!

I could say the same thing to you tallulah71. You don't have to read about it, or post about it. Just because you don't want to read about it, doesn't mean others don't want to - judging by the amount of responses, I would say some do.

    • Thank you. Yes we scanned him last time, he is neutered & chipped. We asked neighbours who were feeding him to keep him in as, owner said she wasn't back till following day. That night whilst he was kept in, Gladys came back. The owner lives on a street who's garden  backs onto my friends garden. We asked neighbour that kept him in for night, to not feed him anymore. The owner said not long after she got him, he went out January, never went back till December! I did say so you don't want the cat, she said yes she does but she can't lock him in. I suggested she leaflet all houses who's back gardens back onto hers, to say to stop feeding him. She didn't do it. So until people stop feeding him, he will be a problem as he obviously doesn't want to go home and all the time she never saw him, there was no posters up looking for him, so it's one of those situations! He is a beautiful fluffy black and white and is enormous. Don't know what the solution would be if owner not bothered. Celia hammond overflowing, even kitten season was early this year. Can't take a owned cat though I'm sure he isn't happy. I'm hoping Gladys and Doris will go back home if he isn't loitering. Yes their owner does spray him with water but has little impact. It is a real problem and a worry that they are too frightened to go home and may travel further away. That is the real worry. Will keep post updated.
    • Hi, I’m looking for a small garden table and 2 chairs used but in good condition, ideally one you’d like to get rid of 😊 Chairs need to be sturdy so that she can sit on these safely!  Thanks in advance for her!
    • Is what true? That the student units part of this development that hasn't yet been built is going to fall vacant because there's such a collapse in the number of students in London that they can't rent the units out, and then the Labour government is going to appropriate them to house them asylum seekers? Is that what you're asking is true?
