lilygogan
Hi. I have a ford fusion at the moment but I think going to need to upgrade to a bigger car due to having lots if kids with car seats in the car. (I nanny with my child) does any one drive one and know / think they are any good? Thanks lily. I'm looking at about a 07/08 model thanks lily Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28088-vauxhall-zaferia-any-good/ Share on other sites

Curmudgeon
The zafira isn't wider so I think you might struggle to fit child's seats in the back if that's what you needWhen its set for 7 seats you have almost no boot. You can't put child seats in the boot seats but possibly a booster but its not the safest I would say gor children under 8I love the flexibility of mine and would recommend it but if you need to accommodate more than 2 in proper child seats I'd check it with your seats first Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28088-vauxhall-zaferia-any-good/#findComment-607919 Share on other sites
KatDew
I have one. As the above poster said the back seat is narrow so you can only accomodate two car seats. The back row is hard to access if you are using the middle row with car seats strapped in and when the back seats are both up the boot is tiny. However the good points is mine goes a long way on a tank of fuel. It's a reasonable car to drive and feels ok to park etc. So far it's been reliable. It's a good car but having spent the last two and a half years posting a baby/toddler in via the boot and having to climb in myself to strap them in... I'm not sure it's the ideal car for young children Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28088-vauxhall-zaferia-any-good/#findComment-607948 Share on other sites
etta166
We looked at the Zafira when we were buying our car, but discounted it for the reason that people have already mentioned. We couldn't get 3 car seats in the middle row safely (3 x Group 1 seats or a group 0+ and 2 x group 1 seats). We ended up getting a Touran instead. It has individual seats, so no problem with fitting 3 car seats, but it is hard to get into the back row when you have the car seats in and it also has very little boot space with all the seats up.
