We had this expensive Sage kettle (variable temperature settings) for just over 2 years and it just stopped working - the base works as it sees the kettle but it won't come on, so the problem might be with an element at the base of the kettle itself. Maybe somebody would know how to fix it or could use the parts and would like it for free? It's a shame to bin it...

We bought it from John Lewis sadly (the link was just to show the kettle itself) and you are quite right, kettle like this should last much longer (the guarantee is only for 2 years).


It's being picked up today by somebody from this forum who can hopefully fix it, so there is hope.


Good to know about Lakeland's customer service though, will bear it in mind for the future purchases, thank you!
