The election here is for the mayor and assembly, Southwark councillors are not up for reelection until next year.

5th May is a special day with across the globe ten national events, and nine 'observances' my fave being International Password Day. What a strange lot you are on this thread, if you want to slag off Southwark there are about eight threads already on the go.

Happy to chat about the significance of this day in other regards, although I expect that is a bit esoteric. Kyrgyzstan Constitution day anyone?
