jennyh
When I accidentally clashed my trip with busy bees I got to the horniman for about 10.15 and there was a queue of 35 people waiting...so that was half an hour before the session started and the lady on the info desk said the first people often queue for an hour before. I think the first 2 sessions seemed to get booked up in one go, ie the people who don't get into the first automatically go for the second despite it not being for another hour. Mathilda
Get in the queue before 10.15 and you should be fine to get tickets for either the first (10.45) or second (11.30) sessions. The cafe opens earlier than the museum so you can always get a takeaway coffee for while you wait!
