What "census paperwork"? The census is run by the government ONS, who say they "will send you census information by post including a letter containing the access code needed to fill in your census online questionnaire." https://census.gov.uk/your-data-and-security/how-we-will-contact-or-visit-you. Is it that?

Incidentally while looking this up I came across "The Labour party?s lawyers have written to the director of public prosecutions alleging that Shaun Bailey, the Conservative party?s candidate for London mayor, used fraud to influence upcoming elections by publishing leaflets headed with fake City Hall insignia." in the 25 Jan. edition of https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/jan/25/labour-asks-cps-to-investigate-tory-london-mayor-candidate-over-leaflets, but haven't seen any updates.

Saw a woman walking around about a week ago with the census orange plastic vesty type thing on, in Whateley Road, probably the census people are possibly following up on un re-turned forms, or it has got lost during its return, or checking the data submitted?? Who knows but they're still around.
There are two follow-ups for the census. The first is chasing up addresses for which there have been no returns. The second is for a more in-depth questionnaire (asking questions about work, travel, schooling etc) that a small proportion of households are chosen for after the main census, representing as closely as possible a fair demographic spread. So it's probably the latter.

    • We go to Coolings garden centre which is'nt exactly local its near Bromley but they do deliver. Since Shannons closed we've been going there-its HUGE good knowledgeable staff and not overpriced. every plant we've purchased from them has done really well-AND theres a lovely pub nearby!
    • Really good food, hope people support, was quite quiet when we went.  Great service too.
    • If you want a small prickly evergreen for shade I would recommend Ruscus aculeatus. Unlike Pyracantha, which grows big and is unpleasant to prune, Ruscus only grows to a metre and it will grow in very dark dry shade where almost nothing else does. It is viciously spiny and has very good  red berries in winter.  Berberis darwinii and Berberis julianae are two good evergreen Berberis that will grow in partial shade. I usually order from Burncoose but I have always had a good service from Crocus.
