Anyone have any advice on applying for an EHCP?

Hi there,

Our child has just received a ?no speech no development issues autism? diagnosis. As such, we are discussing with the school whether to apply for an EHCP. To throw into the mix we have also just found out he hasn?t got into any of his secondary school choices so as I understand it this make trying to get an EHCP all the more critical. Does anyone have any experience or advice they can offer in this area or know someone I could speak to on it?
