Getting rid of bulky household items

Hi there

Does anyone know a good way to get rid of a sparking microwave and broken kitchen bin?

I don't have a car - so the Southwark recycling place is probably to tricky.

Likewise, I don't especially want to pay a large fee for collection, given the small volume.

You are not allowed to put such items in your green bin. Check with neighbours to see if they are going to the recycling centre.

Does Southwark do large item collection? Lewisham charges ?20 for a collection of up to 4 bulky items.

Southwark bulky collections charge ?25 for up to 10 items.

You could ask your neighbors if they want to add to a bulky collection with you and split the cost ☺️
