stephent
We're decorating a room for our 2 year old, and was wondering if anyone had recommendations on good places to buy children's furniture and curtains? sillywoman
Isn't childrens furniture the same as adult furniture - you know, bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers? Or did you have other stuff in mind? nylonmeals
Vertbaudet which is a French kids clothing and furniture store had some nice things - worth a look at their site http://www.vertbaudet.co.uk/baby-bedroom-furniture.htmIt says Baby Bedroom but I think its Baby/Toddler Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27718-advice-on-childrens-furniture/#findComment-605384 Share on other sites
nunheadmum
Just consider how long you want it to last. Some of the quirkier bits of kids furniture look great but kids can grow out of it (in size or theme) long before it's had full use. We went for plain big things (wardrobe, drawers etc) and then added fun.smaller bits. mima08
Hiya, if you fancied a bit of "customising" you could get cheap-ish adult furniture.... e.g. paint the front of a basic wardrobe with blackboard paint and your LO can have hours (ok minutes) of fun with chalks, add funky knobs to a basic chest of draws etc. I also remembered this from Pebbles thread: http://pressiesbypebbles.com/my-crafting/very-cool-childrens-furniture/mx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27718-advice-on-childrens-furniture/#findComment-605884 Share on other sites
kinsellapamela
For me, I look prefer to buy from newly opened websites [because I tend to get tired of going to showrooms] because you can get a good deal if they are not as know as the other sites. Like one my sister found, http://www.beds-bed.co.uk/, she bought a pretty Princessy Cot http://www.beds-bed.co.uk/beds/princess-toddler-cot-detail Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27718-advice-on-childrens-furniture/#findComment-609229 Share on other sites
blondelle
I purchase my children furniture at http://www.beds-bed.co.uk/, they offers free shipping around UK. Their furniture are in low prices compared to others.
