njc97
Saffron - yes, the Wavelengths website is out of date (and generally rubbish). The leisure pool, including slides, is shut, due to open "Spring 2013" (but I'm not holding my breath, it was "after Christmas" when it first shut). The 25m pool is still open. There's also a very old fashioned slide at Surrey Quays but I've neveer seen it open. Nor the children's pool which always has a bike parked in it.... Goodliz
Went to Waterfront in Woolwoch today and i would recommend it highly. Slides, waves, pools of different depths plus a normal 25m pool.Nice and clean. Easy to get to. Need to pay for parking but the machine was broken so did not need to pay for that :-)Really worth the trip. My sons age 9 and 6 loved it. Younger children would love it too. ryedalema
We loved waterfront too - but when we last went (back in the summer) they had some strange hour long session times...are the session times better now? Ninja
Wave lengths is open and the flumes and waves are working. It had a refurb a while ago and opened up again. It does have slots and if you don't get in there is a new soft play and cafe so the wait is not too bad. There is a tiny elephantS slide suitable for a 2 year old and the flumes are ok for around 5 yr plus. There is a bubble pool and wave machine too. It's good ! And local and there is a great pizza bus down the road for afterwards! Goodliz
Ryedalema, I think it was 9-1 and 2-5 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27579-pools-with-slides-are-there-any-left/page/2/#findComment-708184 Share on other sites
mima08
Hiya, we went to Waterfront based on Goodliz recommendation - it's brilliant! Really, really clean and nice changing facilities, lovely pools, waves, slides etc. My 3yrs old loved it - even though I said no to the big slides (there from 3 yrs on, but way to scary...). Sessions on a Sat are 9-1 and 2-5.mx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27579-pools-with-slides-are-there-any-left/page/2/#findComment-708430 Share on other sites
