If France win I'll be happy. They are playing cavalier rugby backed by a coach who didn't play a recognised goal kicker against England because "..rugby isnt about winning penalties, it's about scoring tries.." How is that for a refreshing attitude. Can you imagine England having such spirit? The Eng/France game was such an enthralling game because the French kept running the ball often from their own 22. Vive le France!

BTW I'm English and want England to win.

yep great policy, obviously worked for them.

The Six Nations is the big winner (mwah mwah) this year. It really needed a big open tournament. Definately think bonus points should be introduced for try scoring (like the European Cup)as too much is decided on points difference. And if you avoid going to Rome this gives you a big advantage. (Sometimes)
Do you remember a few years ago when for a reason that now escapes me, there was a gap of a couple of months before the last game. England had won the title, but had to go to Ireland to try and get the Grand Slam. Ireland won it, and the losing side were then presented with the championship trophy. All very weird.

apart from armagh winning the all-ireland in 2002,that was probably the best day of my life, watching the faces on the engerland boys collecting the trophy, priceless.

anyone watching the ireland v wales match tomorrow? I wanna watch it but am not sure where it will be on as apparantly there is some important footie on.

can I gloat and say I am going the the ireland v england match at twickenham. Screamed with joy when I found out. Mate who I got the ticket through plays for a team in Ireland and he knows some of the players so we may well be in the pub with them after the game either celebrating or commiserating. SOOOOOOOO happy. Happily have a pint with O'Driscoll. That fella can drink, so just the one!
