pommie
My daughter woke up yesterday morning with a big red rash around her mouth and her nose which is quite red and blotchy. She also has the same spots down below and a few on her arms and legs. Does anyone know what this could be? Fuschia
With mine, hfm was a rash inside the mouth mostly plus bottom of feet and palmsIt could be chicken pox, malaise and runny nose followed by small red spots that turn into yellow blisters Or slapped cheek - red patches on cheeks in particular I would call seldoc to get their advice, ESP as she is so young Poor little lambHow is she in herself? pommie
She doesnt have any on the soles of her feet or her palms but on the other side of her hands and a few on her legs, neck, chest, arms and her head. The main clump of them is around her mouth and nose and they do look red and sore. She is a bit grumpy and not sleeping too well either. She also had a bit of a temperature before the spots came out as well. Think i might give NHS Direct a call and see what they say. There is a walk in centre near me but might just get some advice before taking her Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27487-9-month-old-with-rash-on-face/#findComment-602693 Share on other sites
jollymummy
My 18 months dtr has the same symptoms. Just called SELDOC and they advised could be chicken pox or HFM. Not a lot they can do apart from Calpol and Ibuprofen to control her temperature. Did advise no contact with pregnant aides until the rash goes.
