Seabag
Had my Pfizer jab today. Tiny needle, nothing to worry aboutNo scab, but a little fatigued (mostly from the excitement build up) so early to bed.I?m aiming to be 97% invincible Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/274850-covid-vaccine/page/2/#findComment-1483695 Share on other sites
diable rouge
A reminder that after getting the vaccine, people should still socially distance, wear a mask etc, as it won't prevent you from catching the virus and potentially passing it on. The Gov should really be hammering this point home to people. At Biden's inauguration last week, noticed quite a few people were 'double masking'...Useful article by @j_g_allen on importance of face masks:Homemade masks are 50% efficientBlue surgical mask 60-80% efficientFor maximal protection use cloth mask over surgical mask 90% efficient Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/274850-covid-vaccine/page/2/#findComment-1485042 Share on other sites
Nigello
To be fair, it is unknown whether it will stop you passing it on or just reduce the severity of any illness should you catch the virus. I agree, though, that anyone who has had it ought not to abandon the regulations. https://www.wsj.com/articles/does-getting-the-covid-19-vaccine-stop-you-spreading-it-scientists-dont-know-yet-11610989882 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/274850-covid-vaccine/page/2/#findComment-1485085 Share on other sites
