Cat sitter recommendation

My husband and I recently used Heather at The Wingless Bird to look after our cat while we were away visiting family over Christmas for 2.5 weeks. Our cat is very shy and nervous, however Heather did an outstanding job, and he warmed to her quickly, checking on him twice daily and sending us daily updates including videos and photos. We could really tell how passionate she is about her job and cats, playing with him lots and also bringing some of her own toys to keep him stimulated! She has definitely gone above and beyond other cat sitters we have used in the past and gave a lot of love to our cat. Please consider using her next time you go away and are looking for a reliable and very passionate cat-sitter. The only problem you may have is that your cat will be sorry to see you come home from your trip, after having so much fun with Heather ;)

    • How can a supermarket "run out of gas"? Was that a joke? The Metro article is referring to the central gas supply, surely? Which hasn't actually run out yet.
    • What good would it do reporting it to the press? If one thinks it is a major issue, just for a moment, think about the hardship in cities in Ukraine where residents  are lucky to get one hour of electricity a day and where water is not being pumped to residential blocks.
