Light bulb disposal

Hi, does anyone know where I can dispose of my lightbulbs (long life) locally?

As I'm aware you are not meant to throw them out with your normal household waste.

The Sainsbury's on Dog Kennel Hill has a bin for long-life light bulbs in the recycling area in the car park. They need to be close to a standard bulb size to fit. It's a short-ish green bin that also takes batteries.

LED light bulbs are just brilliant. I've had none fail, unlike incandescent, CFL (trucking useless) and halogen.
