Best car seat for 3 years plus?

Anyone got recommendations on which is the best / safest carseat for 3 years plus? Will need to buy one soon, as LO is getting too big for his old one. Thanks.

I got the britax kidfix one as it was a Which? best buy - you need to have isofix points in your car for it to work securely though

In general the high-backed boosters are better because they provide side impart protection.

Have you thought of trying a Group 1-2-3 carseat? 3 is younger than recommended for a Group 2-3 seat where you strap in with the normal car seatbelt (generally 4+ and over 15kg is the guide). The Group 1-2-3 seats tend to be a bit larger so you can use the integrated harness for longer. We have a Britax 123 which is great. I've seen a Recaro Young Soprt for sale on the forum recently too.

thank you, have been doing more research since and looks like the Britax Evolve 123 plus is a good choice. (we dont have isofix in our car)
