It's not the same as a proper larger garden centre you can walk round with a shop & stuff. SallyBeck
I might be a tad late on this subject but I'm not aware of any top class Caribbean food restaurants on LL? If I'm mistaken and there are, can anyone recommend one to me?Failing that, a sushi joint gets my vote! indiepanda
I would like a shop which caters to people with allergies/food intolerances plus cafe attached - something like Whole Foods or Planet Organic, though would be nice if it wasn't quite as expensive as those places. Amaryllis
I think LL needs a big cafe for children with room for the 4x4 buggies and space for children to play on the floor, make a mess and be loud. The dish and the spoon in nunhead is a small version of the thing we need. More space, more playroom (less mess at home!)And for the evenings can we bring back inside 72? LL is a shadow of its former self without it. indiepanda
I would like somewhere like whole foods market or planet organic - somewhere with a cafe I can get healthy food to eat on the spot as well as buying to take home and plenty of gluten and dairy free options. Louisa
What this place definitely does not need is any more shops attracting trendy 20/30 something yummy yuppy wannabe pretentious types who failed to get a job good enough to pay for a cosy mid-terrace period property in Clapham. So no more cosy yummy mummy cafes with room for a bugaboo or 6. Lets get in some decent shops for everyone to use. My vote goes to pret a manger. Louisa.
