Try Cheltenham / Tunbridge Wells / Harrogate - all likely to meet all your requirements.

I haven't heard of Tikka Max before, but if its another Indian restaurant, then no we don't.

I think the poster meant TK Maxx - does discounted, end of range clothes and household stuff. There's one in Brixton, but they are big and wharehouse like, so no space for one in ED.

But between you, thanks for the laugh :)

Just don't mention PENGE... you'd really be in for it then!

Crikey, I had to go back pages to see what you were talking about.

Did you mean this?

If so - well, reading it again I suppose they weren't a collective, though the same people always seemed to be there and it felt like one!!

And people including Nyge and I did contribute to the rent when they were short of money towards the end.....

They certainly bought and sold records, music-related books and stuff, and I guess would have swapped things if you'd asked, they were so laid-back as to be horizontal.

And they definitely had the occasional gig, not that you could fit many people into such a tiny space.

Oh the many happy hours sitting swigging Stella from Boss Man (or if feeling flush a pint from the Palmerston) and listening to interesting music :)

I miss just being able to drop in and always see people I knew, it was like being a student again .....

Still, at least it gives free rein to the bad-tempered, long-winded pensioners that begin their posts "having resided in Dulwich for a not inconsiderable number of decades, may I be so bold as to suggest..." 😉

We are generally fortunate to get a same day appointment should we really need one either at Sternhall Lane or at Tessa Jowell and any necessary referalls have been swift.
    • @Alice if left might have been stolen/taken by someone (peed on by a dog or fox), also there are some little things attached of - I assume - sentimental value. I hope the owner can claim them. Will leave a note indeed with info how to retrieve them, though not with a private phone number in a public space 😅 Maybe a friend of a friend will come across this post on EDF.  @embob97 They do have a ring, sorry.
