I thought the classic response to this was:

1) Scoop up offending freshly laid turd and place in brown paper bag.

2) Place brown paper bag on doorstep of culprit.

3) Set fire to brown paper bag and ring doorbell.

4) Scarper.

5) Chuckle as culprit is forced to stamp on their pooch's turd in order to put fire out.

When we were 9 years old (a long time ago) we used to think it was hilarious to put dog poo on the doorsteps of people we didn't like, ring the bell and run away. They would (occasionally) step out to see who had rung the doorbell, straight onto the poo. These days, that is probably a criminal offence...

hahaha - yes - 'good luck' if a bird shat on your head in the 70's. but that was a sort of OK-ness about...well, an animal shitting on you.

When you let your animal shit and don't pick up, you deserve at the very least a gentle, "here's a bag". Sometimes that doesn't work...when they point blank refuse (that's when you catch them, mind) call Mark @ Southwark. He's great - and on a mission to sort 'em out!

Multi-dog owner and shit-remover extraordinaire xx

    • The council are really backward in their approach to management of grounds etc.  They will cut grass and mow through wild flowers / it seems continue to use pesticides according to some observations posted here.   Whilst having green policies food recycling etc blocking roads installing Bill n Ben flower pots in roads causing all sorts of heavy traffic in certain roads.  And installing new LED lights etc when we have adequate functioning lights already.   The impact on wildlife and quality of life for all is devastating.
    • Hello All, Peckham Rye and Dulwich Hill Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) will be hosting a free bike marking event today outside of The Round - Peckham Rye Cafe, 12-2pm.
