Hi,

My name is Martha, I'm a final year BA Fashion Design and Management student, looking for help with some questionaires.

As part of my dissertation I'm researching the plus size fashion offering in East Dulwich.

If you are a female, who wears size 16+, please kindly spare 5 minutes to complete a questionnaire.

Just click on the link below or copy and paste it into your browser.

Many thanks

Martha

I didn't make a snide comment like Alan. His remark has gone unremarked upon. All I did was offer her some corrections and I have agreed to proof read her work in future is she wants it. I find it fascinating that people on here can be judge, jury, executioner and MIND READERS divining motivations from reading a few words on the internet. Some of you old Troglodytes should try being nice instead of attacking others who are doing so.

(And there's a prize for spotting the deliberate mistake in this post!)

Happy Flipping Christmas !

Snide you say. Well pot calling kettle black in terms of judge and jury. My remark was NOT snide.

I will accept your apology though.

Well done Martha for not rising to the trivial comments made. As far I can see there was no need for most of the comments made on this post at all, but it seems some people feel the need to comment on nearly every thread on the EDF!!!

Martha, I have tried to do it for you, but the link isn't working for me, very sorry. Feel free to inbox me another link if you are still looking for some constructive help:-)

    • As posted elsewhere Jojm is a superb plasterer, highly experienced and very good. And will either just get on with the job or, if you wish, have a good chat with you - he's a Dubliner so very friendly! I have either used him directly (once, for a biggish job, a couple of rooms, insulated plaster boards and finishing) and twice for neighbouring landlord where I arranged and saw his work completed expertly and efficiently. Recommended. He loves dogs too. If relevant...

    • How about we go straight to the source then if you think it's questionable: Here's Unite Group's annual report: https://www.unitegroup.com/annual-report-and-accounts-2024 Download the PDF and you'll find the 97.5% occupancy rate. You know a lot of these news sources exist because digging through annual reports is laborious and not immediately accessible to the masses. They're reporting on what Unite Group, a public company, is reporting. It's making something more digestible. They're not just making up numbers. They'd end up without much business if they were. PBSA is a big industry. Here's another take (though a year older) from Cushman and Wakefield: https://www.cushmanwakefield.com/en/united-kingdom/insights/uk-student-accommodation-report  Like CBRE, they're also reporting supply shortages. Again, to be occupied by students.
