I don't know if you are on Facebook, but someone has started a group for local makers to share their work with the local community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/225697658207965/

Not strictly East Dulwich, it's called "Supporting Creative Makers In SE London Online Craft Fair"

(I'm not a seller, I've just joined it to support local makers)

Vegan option please?

I love Jones of Brockley for things like amazing curry pastes, their Brindisa almonds and brilliant chutney range. Hop Burns and Black for an awesome selection of hot sauce and great beers, Mons is great for cheeses and some wine from Bruno's on Lordship Lane. Oru look to have some interesting small businesses selling directly who might have nice things for hampers too.

Thank you NorthernMonkey! That?s perfect :) have HBB on the beer list and cave de Bruno for wine too!

I love a lot of the traditional items for sale in Signoria, Italian place on Lordship Lane...

I was thinking more as gifts to give, snarky

    • You must have been very unlucky, they are usually very helpful. Any issues with delivery from online orders pale into insignificance when compared with the advantages of not having to trek from shop to shop comparing availability and prices of what you want, and then having to find someone in each place who can tell you about it, and then hoping that they have given you the correct information! And then having to lug it all home, if it is heavy stuff. Assuming you were lucky enough to find what you wanted in the first place. Been there, done that for decades,  don't want to do it any more thanks  😀

    • Might it be more respectful to refrain from asking this on a local forum which his family are on as if it's merely akin to casually asking if anyone has heard what's happening with the empty shop space next to Oliver Bonas or if anyone knows which dentists are taking on new patients? Christ. Google it if you're that interested. They are a real family and this isn't a Reddit discussion on a true crime documentary. Extraordinary
