Dulwich village pre school / Dulwich wood nursery

Hello,

I am new in the area and looking for nursery for my 3year old start from Jan. It will be his first time.

I got an offer from Dulwich village pre-school and Dulwich wood nursery. Dulwich village pre-school is close to me which seems easy to drop off and pick him up but Dulwich wood is far and i need to take a bus or ride a bike but this is attached to primary school and i find it hard to make a decision.

i am not sure what to do? He will be going to nursery next year too as he born in November.

Any comments/experiences will help me to make a decision.

Thank you in advance.

    • Hi there - my boxes were delivered this morning and I’ll unpack over the next couple of days, so will have a pile of boxes and bubble wrap for you by the weekend if that’s any help? I’m on Limes Walk, SE15, near the Rye.
    • OK. I don't usually eat beetroot (except raw and grated) or brown sauce.  I hate cooked beetroot, if that is what the packs are. I suppose it depends what sort of food you are looking for.  Before you accuse me of being snobby, Lidl is very good value for many food items, but there isn't one in East Dulwich. I don't understand what you mean when you say "You said that you want it closed down so why would you go in there in the first place?" I was pleased that a pound shop was opening locally, and  If memory serves, I said that on here at the time. I have been in there several times in the hope of finding great things to buy - great things like I have found in other pound shops in the past. I haven't found anything much I want to buy in there, let alone any bargains, even at Christmas. I did once buy some toothpaste, and when I got home I realised that it was cheap because it was a smaller size tube than I usually buy.

    • It’s a peak hour bus lane in the section before Nigel Road, west side, not a bus gate, so shouldn’t impact normal traffic heading north from FH Road
