Strawbs
I dont have any advice as my child doesnt go there but unless you already have a place their waiting list is hideous! I was 5 months pregnant when I put my son in the list, he is now 13 months and we still didnt get a place there. Sol
He is at the top of the waiting list now and it is very likely we will be offered a place soon.I think is more difficult to get a place for under 2 than for over 2 and 3 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26749-nursery-advice-please/#findComment-592423 Share on other sites
Indiana
My daughter is lucky to go to Gumboots and I think it is great. They spend plenty of time outdoors and also in the little garden. Also - have you looked at the weekly menus which are posted up? Their diet is very varied and they now email parents the menu on a 2-weekly basis so you can keep an exact track on what your chid is eating. Oxalis
My daughter is in the baby room at Gumboots. I am very happy with the nursery and so is she. I was asked to provide clothing suitable for wet outdoor play when she started at 7mo. When she couldn't walk she didn't go outside if the weather was very bad. She isn't there every day so I didn't mind too much and made up for it on the other days. The menu is varied and everything is cooked on site. The little ones are given fruit when the older ones are having something more pudding like. I am sure the staff would be happy to chat about your concerns. They have always been very receptive when I have raised (small) issues. Mfichardt
My daughter goes to Gumboots full-time, I can't recommend it high enough. The staff are loving and caring; the nursery offering varied and stimulating activities. It's a really wonderful place!
