I wanted to provide you with an update in relation to the incident that occurred on Tuesday 20th October in Draycott Close, SE5.


?


A man has been charged with two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a collision involving a police car in Southwark.


?


Haydon Martin, 19/09/1995, of Fenwick Road, Southwark, is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court this morning.


?


The charges relate to a collision between a car and a police car shortly before 13:30hrs on Tuesday, 20 October in Draycott Close near to the junction with Edmund Street, SE5.


?


Four police officers sustained injuries that required hospital treatment. The female driver of the police vehicle remains in hospital, while three male officers have now been discharged with minor injuries.
