Girl82
It actually happened in West Hampstead, but apparently the woman lived in East Dulwich. Very sad. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2232457/Desreen-Brooks-A-PR-boss-saved-year-old-son-path-control-Mercedes-mowed-killed-stylist-wife.html Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26719-east-dulwich-woman-killed-by-runaway-car-in-west-hampstead/ Share on other sites

StraferJack
My daughter goes to same nursery and loves the young child mentioned. She talks about him most daysI don't know what to think about the poor kid and the father. Can only wish them the very best Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26719-east-dulwich-woman-killed-by-runaway-car-in-west-hampstead/#findComment-592010 Share on other sites
LondonMix
Wow, how very tragic. If anyone knows them and feels the community in anyway can help support them at this time, please do let us know-- even if its simply help with childcare. Otta
That is very very sad.Normally I wouldn't agree with any comments on the Daily Mail website, but have to agree that elderly drivers should be tested regularly, and have licenses removed if they don't pass tests. May or may not have made a difference in this case, but it is a genuine issue. Sue
I had posted agreeing with Otta's point about elderly drivers, then belatedly realised it was not an appropriate thread to be expanding on that.Sorry.Can't begin to imagine what this must be like for all involved.
