Does anyone know how the waiting lists are ordered? Is it by distance or by preference? Do people who live closer get on the waiting list first, or those who've put the school as their first choice? And does Kingsdale operate its' own system as it's a lottery and a banding test?

Also, if anyone has a child at Charter ED, how are they finding it? Trying to get an idea of this school as they've not exactly gone all out on providing parents with much of a feel for the school, in person or virtual!

thanks

Schools' waiting lists go on closest first. They often move quite quickly as families decide to stick with the option they have taken, rather than change, so do not be disheartened if your child misses out in the first round.

Kingsdale's lottery is taken in equal amounts from each banding pot, and thereafter on closest distance.

Good luck
