lucyA1308
Hello there,I am looking for a jolly nursery rhyme CD that we can use for my daughter's 1st birthday, and maybe for car journeys. We do a lot of singing in our house, and have an older daughter too, so I am looking for something more than just the normal incey wincey etc. Something quite lively and bubbly, that the little ones can have a bit of a bop to. She loves to dance, and so I am wanting something a bit fun and different to what I can do just singing myself.if anyone has any good suggestions, that would be great.Thanks. nunheadmum
The Monkey Music cd's are great. They've got us up and down to Scotland and back and forth to Cornwall......all the way! Also have a Party Songs one that we got in Mothercare that goes down well. Lots of them are best for your sanity if you're going far. pincushionqueen
http://www.keepingthebeat.co.uk/ these CDs have been a firm favourite with my reception and nursery classes for the past few years, my 16 month old really enjoys them too. We love the Boppin Bunnies albums too (I got both of mine on iTunes) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26675-nursery-rhyme-cd-suggestions/#findComment-591479 Share on other sites

bg0606
We like the Rainbow Collections CDs, traditional songs with interesting arrangements and sung by Sophie Barker (the singer from Zero 7). Eg on the 'Toybox' CD there's a calypso version of 'If you're happy and you know it' which I really like, plus a fun country and western 'Old MacDonald'. Not annoying at all. There are also lullaby and Christmas CDs.http://www.therainbowcollections.com/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26675-nursery-rhyme-cd-suggestions/#findComment-591518 Share on other sites
slh2009
Hi, I've also got the Boppin' Bunnies CDs....www.boppinbunnies.co.uk.They are a mixture of upbeat songs and lullabies and really nicely sung...not so nicely by me in the car (!) but my son can now join in to make it more fun. Be.jones
I bought the Steeleye Span one we had when I was little. It is a bit 70s but in a wholesome way.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Very-Favourite-Nursery-Rhyme-Record/dp/B003334SJ0 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26675-nursery-rhyme-cd-suggestions/#findComment-591742 Share on other sites
