I notice from the London Gazette that Dulwich Life was 'allegedly' in court last Wednesday 13th February. A petition to wind up the company was presented last October by the rag's printer and finally made its way to court under the Insolvency Act.

No doubt the printers were unpaid and it must have been a lot of money, if I recall correctly the mag claimed a circulation of 20,000. Yeah, right - per annum maybe. Yet I doubt if the print run was more than 500 a month.

Still, does anyone know if this court case was actually heard and what of the outcome?

To its readers Dulwich Life may well have seemed friendly and appealing, but talk to anyone who dealt with the company itself and a very different view emerges. Indeed this recent legal footnote is a reminder that ignoring the creditors who help establish your business, is unlikely to reap any lasting rewards.
