katezerooo
Hi all. I've got a big pile of cardboard that fits in my car, but I think is too big to leave for the fortnightly blue bin recycling collection. Anyone know where I can take it to be recycled? Thanks! Nigello
You could ask neighbours to let you use theirs this once. Most people are happy to help and it?ll save you a drive. ♻️ etc. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/266456-where-to-take-cardboard-recycling/#findComment-1459267 Share on other sites

Sue
In the past I have left large pieces of cardboard next to my blue bin, and it has been taken by the bin men.I use cardboard on my allotment now (but I don't need any more, sorry!)ETA: There are often people on the forum looking for cardboard boxes, usually because they are moving house. So you could try advertising it free in the Wanted section? alex_b
Usually the bin men will take flattened card left next to the blue bin provided its dry. Otherwise if you go to the recycling centre off Old Kent Rd you?ll need to book a time slot at least a day in advance on the council?s website. Ginnie
When I went to the Old Kent Road recycling centre, a couple of months ago, they weren?t taking any recycling that you can put in your own recycling bin. I had a whole car full of cardboard that I had to put into the household waste section- really frustrating. It would be great to know if they had started taking all recycling again.
