Hi,

We are having problems with the underfloor heating in one of the floors, it was installed last year and it has been used just one winter. When it is on it makes a funny noise and does not heat up, the other floor is working fine. Does anybody know what could be the problem or who can we contact to check it out/fix it? We didn't install it ourseles but the person who sold us the house. Any advice will be greatly appreciate it.

Thank you

We have Jupiter underfloor water and it took a few years (!) to settle... have you checked your control box? Are all the water bubbles in the middle? If I remember there are little control valves... but just get the people back asap. When it does start to work without problems it is blissful: warm floors nothing on the walls
If it was only installed last year it still might be under guarantee, therefore if it isn't an emergency it's best to try and get the original installer to check it out at their cost. If you have no joy finding them, a local heating engineer (e.g. Peter Bennison, John Powers) should be able to solve the problem...
