Hi Kamath,

I agree with the above re rescues. We have ours outside in the warmer months (in a hutch inside a shed with windows, if you have a hutch outside, make sure it is a fox proof one) and inside during the colder months (they moved inside when the weather changed a couple of weeks ago). If you have grass, they enjoy going in a run in summer, they are like mini lawnmowers. They need to be put away by dusk, as yes, foxes are a problem!

Try and get as big a hutch that you can fit. You may be able to pick one up from the Forum. They make great pets.

Agree rescue is the best option, but failing that, Scallywags in West Wickham are responsible breeders, although not sure if you will get pigs from them at this time of year. We have our pigs inside at night in a c&c cage and an eglu run in the garden during the day. Have a read online as they need a lot of space to run around otherwise they get bored and can fight.

    • We've just used Aaron and I'd strongly recommend him. Excellent plasterer. Not the cheapest but very tidy and quick – so good value for money. He cleaned up well and a nice bloke too.  Aaron Manser 07773 410661
    • Admittedly I have not gone  through that application with a fine tooth comb, riveting though it is (thank you for posting the link). However,  unless I have misunderstood, within the documents it says that  there are eleven properties associated with the application. Could someone at Tesco have made a mistake with the address,  and in fact it has nothing to do with Poundland? Sorry, somehow I have duplicated my own post, and I'm not sure how to remove the duplicate. DUH.
    • Surely it is not an "advert" for councillors? Why do you put "local" in inverted commas? Why the (lol)? What is so amusing? The board  is telling people who their councillors are. What on earth is "frivolous" about that? If you are so  concerned about the lack of information on the boards, why don't you do something about it (eg contact your local councillor with suggestions) instead of moaning on here?
    • I noticed another of these boards outside the leisure centre on the East Dulwich road side. it has one advert for the “local” councillors in it (lol) and nothing else. what a frivolous waste of opportunity,
