I have never posted like this before and hope I am in the right place.

I have tutored in the area for 20 years, previously I taught in primary schools but now only tutor from my house in East Dulwich. I have been approached by some parents wanting test preparation in a school. The children would practice papers leading to experiencing exams in a setting similar to the real thing. Practice interviews would also be available. It would mean that I would need to hire a class in a local school which would be new to me and wondered if there really was any call for it.

Look forward to any responses or suggestions

I think practice under simulated test conditions can only be a good thing! (but am not currently involved in having a child tutored).


But now it has been thought of and discussed many parents will not rest until they have found a way to make it happen, lest the competition get there first ;)

      Farmers aren't being gifted anything; Their heirs are being gifted millions of pound worth of income generating assets by chance of birth. An estate that they have done nothing to earn. Most farms worth under £3m will still end up being passed on tax free. Those that do have to a pay inheritance tax will do so at just 20% on that part which is over the threshold (rather than the standard 40%), and they'll have 10 years to do so (usually it is payable immediately). So it is still preferential terms for those being gifted a multimillion pound estate So to repeat my previous question... Why do you think people coming into a massive, unearned windfall shouldn't pay any tax, but a nurse who works hard for everything they earn, should pay tax?

      And the latest shocker, Inflation this morning was 2.3% up from 1.7& the previous month, a 0.6% increase in a month, that is dreadful. So Robber Reeves plan is already working (NOT). Inflation has begun to increase and will continue to do so, I predict the next set of unemployment figures will show a rise. Neither of these things can be blamed on the last Govt, it's down to the inept budget and impact it is having already.

If there's any problems someone picks up the phone on the 2nd or 3rd ring and several times they have rung me immediately after I sent an e-mail. As they are primarily B2B, their support is excellent and there are a lot fewer miscommunications with OpenReach. Go to their website and enter your postcode which will show you exactly what type of broadband is available in your area.
