I seem to have spent all morning searching for a nice talking doll for a little girl and I've now confused myself cos so many to choose from

Can someone please recommend a nice, not too annoying, talking doll for a 4+ year old

Or if not talking a doll that does something (not poo!!!)

Thanks in advance

Sally

We've had so many dolls bought for us over the years I have almost lost track.

Out of them all I think the Chou Chou and Baby Annabelle (spelling?) were the best i.e. various models that did talk, cry, drink, wee etc.

They're not cheap though and neither are all their accessories.

Another vote for Annabelle. I reluctantly bought one as thought they didn't need to talk. But Annabelle is quite realistic and my daughter has loved it for a few years now. We've got a bucket of dolls and it's the one that always gets played with (and coveted by No2!). I haven't bought any accessories - maybe just my daughter but she usually just wants the original babygro or can use other baby cast offs.

    • It's interesting how local businesses and the people that own / work in them are not considered part of the "community". The dictionary says "a group of people living in the same place" as the principal definition. Why are we forced to accept a secondary definition where those who don't live in social housing, the vast majority of people in East Dulwich, are told to shut up?

    • If weeds are allowed to grow for too long they lift pavements and create obvious tripping hazards. Obviously removing them from your wall and/or garden is unacceptable.
