I?m looking for a local bin that takes clothes recycling

I know there?s one outside the charity shop Mind at the bottom of lordship Lane, but in my experience it?s always full so I can never put any clothes in there.

Anyone know of another place to drop off clothes/scraps of fabric for recycling?

    • I suspect it is really difficult as stuff gets ground in and that is the problem. My own view is the event should be moved to a more suitable site. It is fairly clear they want to expand, I think that is the biggest problem, the risk of the event getting extended or other event organisers getting in on the action. It is great that the barriers are down and the park can be fully enjoyed again. The damage to grass does not seem as bad this year; I suspect that is because there has been much less rainfall.
    • We used Tom King recently to repair two light switches and have used him in the past for moving a plug socket. He's a lovely guy as well as the utmost professional. Very reliable and helpful, talks you through what's needed with a repair and charges reasonable rates, especially as some electricians charge the earth in this area now. Highly recommended!

    • Aria and this team replaced 2 showers in my house. He helped me too source all of the correct parts, and then carried out a challenging job of removing the old showers, replacing with new and then retiling the areas. His communications and expertise were brilliant throughout and he charged a very fair fee for carrying out the works. Hes just a very nice, friendly and patient guy to deal with. I would recommend him to anyone needing work done. Thank you again
