Design and Build companies

We're in the early stages of thinking about a kitchen extension (not including the side return) of our Edwardian end terrace. I'd be interested in any reviews of local design and build companies - the good, the bad, and the ugly!

From personal experience, steer well clear of Landmark if they?re still in business. I know people who have had very good experiences with PlusRooms. Plenty of threads (good and bad) on the forum if you search by firm names.
